IEIE is a non-profit, non-partisan, public interest NGO (non-governmental organization) based in Stuttgart, Germany. Most activities of IEIE are implemented by volunteers.
IEIE offers international youth exchange programmes, youth information activities, training courses for youth workers and actions with the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programmes. In addition, there are bilateral activities between the City of Stuttgart and its international twin cities.
General aim of IEIE’s work is to promote international understanding, to increase individual learning and talent development, to fight prejudice and discrimination and to help foster the exchange of intercultural knowledge. IEIE works especially with migrants, international mobile citizens and seniors with migration background.

IEIE is an European Institution. IEIE has partner organizations in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Egypt, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey and the USA.
